Last weekend Norwich City played Bundesliga side F.C St. Pauli in a pre-season friendly at Carrow Road, which was proudly sponsored by Eleven Sports Media, as we continued our partnership with the Canaries.
Norwich City Community Partners were displayed on the Mid-Tier and Pitch-Facing LED boards around the stadium to announce their Community Partnership with the club for the 2024-25 season, in association with Eleven Sports Media.
Norwich City is a unique club, which represents how many supporters the partnerships must reach out to by covering the whole of Norfolk. It allows the Community Partners associated with Norwich to reach out to a huge fan base across the county; all done through the power of sport.
By renewing their partnership with sports rights specialists, Eleven Sports Media, Small-to-Medium sized businesses across Norfolk have the opportunity to align themselves with Norwich City, as well as numerous branding, experiential and activation opportunities throughout the partnership.
Sam Jeffery from Norwich City said: ‘We are delighted to continue our partnership with Eleven Sports Media for another three seasons to provide partnership opportunities tailored towards local businesses of Norfolk.”
“Our long-term partnership with Eleven Sports Media has allowed the club to strengthen its relationship with local organisations by providing opportunities for brand awareness and improving business connectivity through sport.”
Norwich City is preparing for its first game against Oxford United on Saturday 10th August to kick off the 2024/25 season.
The Community Partners are looking forward to the season kicking off and with this being able to see their branding in the stadium across Mid-Tier LED, StatTV, and across Norwich City FC’s official social media channels through StatZone – all provided to the through Eleven’s community-driven sports partnerships model.
As the community aspect of the partnership is valued by the club, at the pre-season friendly against F.C Pauli, the club and Eleven invited some regional grassroots girls’ football teams to come to the game and get a taste of the football season starting again.
Attending the game were players from the Norfolk Girls Team and Blofield who, all together, took 50 tickets and sat in the heart of the South Stand to enjoy the match.
Kris Hart from Norfolk Girls Football said: “Grassroots football is so important to local communities in so many ways. Away from the actual football, seeing girls become part a team, gaining teammates and new best friends, this positive impact is immeasurable.
With the football, we are discovering that Norfolk crammed full of talented, determined and passionate female footballers and we need to give them the opportunities and pathways to succeed in the game, however that may look.”
With the season soon approaching, Norwich FC are excited to host their Community Partners at the game with the visibility of branding being shown around the stadium. They are excited to give their Community Partners the viability and reach for local businesses to target new customers across the county, whilst showing their support for their home team.
As part of Eleven sponsoring the match against St. Pauli, Community Partners were invited to host the man of the match presentation on the pitch after the game.
With the new season getting underway, there is still time to align your business with Norwich City for the upcoming campaign through the Community Partnership.
