As reported by P2P Finance News, Kuflink has been awarded B Corp certification in recognition of its commitment to people and the planet.
The coveted certification has been awarded to just a handful of peer-to-peer lenders and other alternative lending platforms. Almost two hundred thousand businesses worldwide have registered to use the B Corp impact management and measurement tools. The full B Corp certification has been awarded to just 6,658 companies.
“We are delighted to announce that we have achieved a B Corp certification demonstrating that we have established a foundation of a growing company that put people and the planet at the forefront of what we do,” said Paul Auger, chief operating officer at Kuflink.
“Around 196,000 businesses world-wide have registered to use the B Corp impact management and measurement tools.
“We are 1 of over 6,000 companies in the world that have been certified as meeting the high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability”.
B Corp has recognised Kuflink as operating a “service with minor environmental footprint”.
Based on the B Impact assessment, Kuflink earned an overall score of 90.6. The median score for ordinary businesses who complete the assessment is currently 50.9. A score of 80 qualifies for B Corp certification.
